✨ About The Role
- The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for building, testing, and maintaining applications that support autonomous satellite operations
- Key responsibilities include automating spacecraft operations, mission scheduling, command and telemetry pipeline, and anomaly response
- The role involves providing software architecture expertise to cross-functional engineering and product teams
- DevOps practices will be established and adhered to in order to ensure customer and satellite-operational needs are met with quality and performance
- Additional duties may be assigned as needed
âš¡ Requirements
- Experienced software engineer with a background in developing highly available web services and RESTful APIs
- Proficient in server-side scripting languages, particularly Python, with a strong understanding of software architecture and automated testing patterns
- Skilled in database-backed applications and relational database concepts, preferably Postgres
- Strong communicator and team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary engineering environment
- Willingness to learn new skills and technologies, with a focus on security and quality assurance
