✨ About The Role
- The Senior Mechanical Engineer will own the design and manufacturing strategy of mechanical components and subsystems for electric propulsors and aircraft.
- Responsibilities include creating engineering drawings, models, and assemblies in CAD, as well as maintaining the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- The role involves developing prototypes and mechanical assemblies, tooling, and ground support equipment.
- The engineer will host design reviews and incorporate feedback from other teams, including mechanical, structures, and aerodynamics.
- Mentoring other members of the Mechanical Engineering team is also a key responsibility of this position.

- The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering and at least 8 years of experience in designing turbomachinery, particularly fan or compressor blades and vanes.
- Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS or similar 3D CAD software is essential for this role.
- The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of airfoil manufacturing processes and material selection, including aluminum, titanium, and composites.
- They should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity.
- Effective written and oral communication skills are necessary to convey design concepts and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
