We're looking for a Senior UX Designer to be our first in-office design hire in New York. You'll partner closely with product managers, engineers, and our Seattle-based designer to shape WireScreen's product experience. This is a rare opportunity to define the design culture and craft the user experience for a platform at the intersection of technology, policy, and global trade.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end design projects: from research and discovery to flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UI, and design QA.
• Translate complex datasets and workflows into intuitive, elegant user experiences.
• Collaborate daily with product managers and front-end engineers in New York.
• Extend and evolve our design system for consistency and scalability.
• Conduct user interviews and usability testing to guide product decisions.
• Share best practices and mentor teammates on design thinking and execution.

You Should Apply If You...

• Have 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience (startup or SaaS background is a strong plus).
• Have a portfolio that demonstrates product thinking, strong interaction design, and visual craft.
• Have fluency in Figma and experience collaborating closely with developers.
• Are comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment—balancing speed with quality.
• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to explain design decisions clearly.
• Bonus: Experience with data visualization, B2B platforms, or design systems.
