Position Overview: X-Bow Systems is seeking support for our procurement and supply chain operations. This internship offers hands-on experience in data entry, purchasing support, inventory management, and planning. The ideal candidate will be organized, eager to learn, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Entry: Accurately input and maintain procurement-related data in company systems and databases. Ensure all records are up-to-date and comply with company standards.
• Purchasing Support: Assist in processing purchase orders and tracking order statuses. Communicate with vendors and suppliers to confirm order details and delivery timelines. Support the procurement team in sourcing materials and negotiating pricing.
• Inventory Management: Help track and manage inventory levels across multiple locations (Sacramento and Luling). Conduct inventory audits and ensure proper documentation of stock levels. Collaborate with the team to optimize inventory control processes.
• Planning: Assist in developing procurement plans to meet project timelines and budget requirements. Support forecasting and planning activities to ensure adequate supply of materials. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align procurement activities with operational needs.

Qualifications:

• Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with procurement systems or inventory management software is a plus. Familiarity with ERP systems or purchasing tools is desirable.
