Xona is searching for a Product Manager to join us on our mission. As a member of this team, you'll own our early customer relationships, lead field trials and serve as the critical bridge between external users and internal engineering teams. You will both think deeply and act decisively to ensure that our customers succeed and that their feedback helps shape and scale the future of our product. The ideal candidate is a high-agency pathfinder, capable of operating at the speed of a modern startup. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Acting as the primary point of contact for our early customers & users. You will own and manage early customer relationships, from initial onboarding to post-trial feedback. In parallel, you'll develop repeatable processes, documentation, and tooling to scale customer consultations and ensure consistent, high-quality engagements.
• Leading hands-on product demonstrations and trials. You'll lead field trials for our PNT services, working closely with customers to plan, execute, and evaluate trial success. This is a high-impact function, central to demonstrating and delivering real-world value to our earliest users.
• Serving as chief customer advocate. You'll lead customer discovery and speak on behalf of our diverse user base, from precision agriculture to financial markets to defence. You'll ensure that the "voice of the customer" is heard in internal discussions, translating real-world needs into actionable product and engineering requirements.
• Informing our product narrative. You'll work with marketing and business development to craft compelling narratives around customer success and product capabilities.
• Gathering intel to inform the broader product roadmap, so that Pulsar evolves with customer considerations in mind.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of product management or engineering experience, preferably in aerospace & defence, tech, telecommunications, or GNSS industries
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the confidence to navigate unstructured environments and make decisions with incomplete information.
• The demonstrated ability to empathize and build strong relationships with customers & end users.
• Technically fluent, with the desire to rapidly build up a strong understanding of GNSS, satellite navigation, and PNT technologies.
• Experience leading field trials or working with third-party device integrations, including simulators, receivers, and other user equipment.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to rally support and build conviction around specific product initiatives.

Special Considerations

• This is an in-person role, based in Montreal, Canada.
• Fluent in English and French, with the ability to support both local and global partners.
• Successful candidates must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
• This role requires up to 20% travel.
