✨ About The Role
- The Senior GNSS Software Engineer will be responsible for developing software that addresses complex problems in integer ambiguity resolution, precision orbit determination, and clock estimation.
- This role involves working closely with the payload software team to create test procedures and validate products on both test and flight hardware.
- The position requires a deep understanding of satellite systems, orbital mechanics, and orbit determination.
- The engineer will also engage in atmospheric modeling and integrity for safety-critical applications.
- The role is part of a small, fast-moving team that is building a modern commercial satellite system to provide high-accuracy global navigation and timing services.
âš¡ Requirements
- A Master's or PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a relevant field is essential for this role.
- The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in navigation, localization, or estimation algorithm development, particularly in automotive, industrial, or aerospace applications.
- Strong programming skills in C++ and Python are crucial for developing and maintaining navigation software.
- Experience with high-precision GNSS correction systems such as PPP-AR, PPP, and RTK is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with statistical signal processing and estimation techniques, including Kalman filtering, is necessary for success in this position.
