Zoox's internship program provides hands-on experiences with state of the art technology, mentorship from some of the industry's brightest minds, and the opportunity to play a part in our success. Internships at Zoox are reserved for those who demonstrate outstanding academic performance, activities outside their course work, aptitude, curiosity, and a passion for Zoox's mission.
As a Full Stack Engineer Intern, you may be assigned to one of the following teams:
On the Robotics Infrastructure team, you will help shape the future of fleet management and performance monitoring for our autonomous robot fleet. This internship provides a hands-on opportunity to work with real-time telemetry, modern observability stacks, and critical cloud APIs. You will be instrumental in migrating legacy systems and optimizing our monitoring dashboards to provide fleet-wide omniscience.
On the Ride and Fleet team, you will build out the backend services that provide top-notch rider and vehicle operator experience across mobile apps, robots, and web apps. Our Zoox robots take missions like rideshare trips, charging, cleaning, and support rider interactions like authentication, ingress, and egress. As our intern, you will be part of the backbone of our autonomous fleet management system and the brains behind connecting our riders and vehicle operators to our robots. You will learn from the myriad of our team's scope - from fleet dispatch, payment, rider & mission management, robot & service management to trip ETA. Working alongside our experienced engineers, you will get the exciting opportunity to solve challenging problems and define the ride experience of Zoox's autonomous vehicles.
On the Remote Operations Tools team, you will collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers and remote operators to build full stack web applications to monitor and support our fleet at scale, provide in-vehicle visualization systems and provide live ride support to our growing rider base.
The monthly salary range for this position is $5,500 to $9,500. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level of education. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, and a housing stipend (relocation assistance will be offered based on eligibility).
