- Design principled algorithmic improvements across different driving behavior categories and implement changes in the code base
- Use extensive backend tooling to test changes across various driving scenarios efficiently
- Lead on-vehicle drive reviews to provide feedback on driving performance and help the team learn and improve
- Stay informed on the latest developments in Robotics and Motion Planning, write patents for novel technologies developed

- Experienced software engineer with 8+ years in the industry, specializing in motion planning and control
- Proficient in C++ with a strong understanding of configuration spaces and various planning techniques
- Skilled in designing algorithmic improvements for driving behaviors and implementing them effectively
- Comfortable working on complex driving scenarios and pickup/dropoff maneuvers, ensuring safety and reliability
- Ability to collaborate with UI/UX and product teams to create elegant solutions for user experience
