✨ About The Role
- Responsible for designing, developing, and testing features for the road network Editor at Zoox
- Involved in building the content pipeline for accurate and quick production of ZRN data by Cartographers
- Creation of software requirements, design documentation, test plans, and other supporting documentation
- Contribution to all phases of the software development cycle including prototyping, requirements capture, design, implementation, and validation
- Opportunity to work closely with the Core Architecture team to ensure data integrity and validity in the road network content pipeline

- Ideal for a software engineer with at least 6 years of industry experience in road network mapping and tools development
- Requires fluency in C++ and experience with OpenGL or WebGL, along with a Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Bonus qualifications include proficiency in Python, Qt or equivalent UI framework, and experience with mapping, GIS systems, geometry, routing, or graph theory
- The successful candidate will have a strong background in data/content pipelines (ETL, etc.) and be detail-oriented with a focus on data integrity and validation
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Core Architecture team and contribute to all phases of the software development cycle
