Technical Recruiter - Manufacturing Operations (Contract)

Zoox's Talent Acquisition team is seeking a Technical Recruiter to support hiring for our Manufacturing Operations (MO) organization. In this role, you'll partner closely with hiring managers to recruit across a diverse set of positions, ranging from entry-level to senior leadership. Roles will span engineering, program management, and on-the-ground operations, giving you exposure to both technical and business-critical functions.

We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong track record recruiting for hardware engineering and manufacturing-related roles, and enjoys full ownership of the recruiting process—from intake to close. You'll play a key role in scaling the teams that directly impact Zoox's growth and mission.

Please note: this is a contract position to start.

In this role, you will:

• Drive the full-cycle recruiting process, with an emphasis on strong hiring manager partnership and effective candidate advocacy
• Source, screen, and evaluate candidates across engineering and operations disciplines
• Facilitate interviews and hiring decisions in collaboration with hiring managers and leadership
• Manage the offer process, partnering with HR and business stakeholders
• Continuously identify ways to improve both the candidate experience and our recruiting practices

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience (sourcing, screening, and closing candidates)
• At least 2+ years successfully recruiting for hardware roles (e.g., manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, mechatronics engineering)
• Experience working in-house as a recruiter, with proven ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers
• Ability to evaluate candidates for both technical competencies and team fit
• Skilled at sourcing via LinkedIn and other creative methods
• Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, evolving environment

Bonus Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Familiarity with ATS systems (we use Lever), and ability to leverage data to drive hiring strategy
• Interest in the autonomous vehicle or electric vehicle industry

This hybrid role entails working in the office three days per week in our Foster City office (HQ).

This is a contract position with potential for full-time employment and employment for this position will be through a vendor contracted with Zoox. The pay range for this position is $60 to $82 per hour, and you will be eligible for a benefits package as offered by the vendor.
